Therapy Retreats condense months of therapy, plus supportive holistic practices, into 1-3 days. They're a short-term, accelerated therapy, so you can do more work in less time, and feel better sooner.
We use techniques from CBT, DBT, and Trauma Narrative practices, as well as hypnotherapy. We also offer mind-body practices like therapeutic massage, 1-1 yoga and meditation practices, and reiki healing.

Our therapists are licensed to work with clients who are physically located in California during their retreat.
The good news? You don't have to be a California resident -- just be in the state during your retreat. Many of our clients travel to Southern California for a few days to immerse themselves in the experience and get a vacation out of it, too.
If you're coming from out of town, we'd love t help make your stay as restorative and enjoyable as possible. We're happy to recommend cozy accommodations and local spots to explore (hello, Laguna Beach), so your time here feels like a true reset.

After your retreat, you'll have a personalized workbook and any recordings you created to help you integrate what you've learned into your daily life.
Some people find that's all they need, while other prefer continued support. That could look like follow-up hypnotherapy or therapy sessions with us, resuming sessions with your primary therapist (if they're outside of Soul Centered Therapists), or even planning periodic therapy retreats to keep building on your progress.
Whatever feels best for you, we're here to help you figure out the right next steps.

By diving in and doing the work all at once, you may actually save time and money compared to ongoing therapy over time. You definitely save time and energy since you don't have to juggle your work, childcare, and life commitments on a weekly basis to make room for long-term, weekly therapy.
More than anything, a retreat is an investment in you - your mental health, your peace, and your ability to truly enjoy life again.
Our full service 2-day Therapy Retreats start at 2,600, which includes the equivalent of 10 therapy sessions, plus a therapeutic massage, hypnotherapy session, and a 1-1, custom yoga and medication practice -- all designed to help you heal deeply and see real progress, fast.
Because of the extra preparation, planning and focused care involved, retrats are billed at a slightly higher rate than weekly therapy. Weekend, in-person retreats are priced slightly higher than weekday or online retreats.
During your free consultation, we'll talk thorugh your needs and design a retreat that feels right to you. Once your dates are confirmed, a non-refundable deposit (50% of your retreat cost) is due within one week, with the remaining balanced charged on the first day of your retreat.
To ensure transparency, you'll receive.a Good Faith Estimate (GFE) outlining all costs as part of your intake paperwork, in accordance with the No Surprises Act.

Most insurance plans limit how many therapy hours they'll cover in a single day or week. We recommend giving them a quick call to check the details of your specific plan.
We're in-network for therapy with Aetna, Cigna and United/ Optum. If you have a different provider, we're out--of-network, but you may still be eligible for partial reimbursement per your plan's out-of-network coverage.
Keep in mind that insurance won't cover therapeutic massage, hypnotherapy, or yoga/ medication portions of your retreat -- these are included to support you mind-body healing in ways traditional therapy alone can't.
